Sand Dollars

Sand Dollars - Sea Biscuits - Sea Cookies

Sand Dollars (echinoderm) are the skeleton of several species of Sea Urchins. Sand Dollars are common in the U.S., Australia and Caribbean and are usually found on sandy bottoms in shallow water. The shell is typically flat and circular. The Sanddollars are also known in Christianity as having a symbolic closeness to the birth and death of Jesus Christ. This is told in the Legend of the Sand Dollar.

Our sand dollars are quite popular with weddings and home decor. They include the Keyhole Sand Dollar, Arrowhead Sand Dollar, Sea Biscuit and Sea Cookies.
